Student Assistance Program
The middle school has a multi-disciplinary team that includes teachers, administration, school nurse, school counselor, and school social worker that is trained to understand and work with adolescents troubled with physical, emotional, social, medical, familial, or chemical use problems. The Student Assistance Team's primary role is to identify, refer, document, and intervene when student problems are suspected. The team acts as a resource to students, parents, and faculty, and as a liaison between students, parents, and community agencies to facilitate communication and interventions.
