5th grade students headed to Baseballtown to see the Reading Fightin Phils on May 14th. Six students, Justin Smith, Oliver Bensinger, Devyn Marks, Ailan Barnes, Reagan Farrell, and Leena Steffie, represented our school on the field in the Academic Challenge. Another student, Korbin Tellup, was able to ask a question to three of the Fightin Phils players. Once the field was ready to go, students were able to dance and cheer for the Fightin Phils! A little rain and wind didn’t stop it from being a memorable day for all!

🧪🐸 Exploring Anatomy in Action! 🐸🧪
Mr. Pearson's 7th-grade scientists took their learning to the next level with a hands-on frog dissection! 🧤🔬
After weeks of studying the major organs and systems of the human body, students had the opportunity to explore how frogs share many of the same internal structures. From lungs and livers to hearts and stomachs, this lab helped students compare and contrast human and amphibian anatomy in a memorable, real-world experience.
By observing similarities and differences, our young scientists are building a deeper understanding of how organisms are structured and how body systems work together to sustain life. 🌱💡
Swipe through the photos to see science in action — curiosity, teamwork, and discovery on full display!

Special thanks to Momma Millie's bakery and the Roller Roost for hosting students in 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade! Our students got cupcake decorating lessons and learned about owning and operating a bakery. After that, they burned off some energy skating and playing laser tag. It was an awesome day, and we are so grateful for your kindness!
