This evening, Brendalis Holguin was honored as our representative to the 2025 Delin Awards at Penn State Schuylkill. This award recognizes students who work hard to eliminate hate and discrimination in our schools and society. Along with Brendalis being honored for her hard work, Schuylkill Haven Area High School also won the Overall prize for outstanding work in the area of diversity and acceptance. The Advisors of our DAY club are Val Morrow, Caitlin Albon, and Jennifer Stauffer. We are very proud of the work that Brendalis and her classmates have done throughout the year to make SHAHS a great place to learn each day. Congratulations!!!

Congratulations to Senior Anna Schaeffer on her recognition this evening as the 2025 Schuylkill Haven Area High School female Scholar Athlete. Anna has left a legendary athletic and academic legacy at Schuylkill Haven Area that will serve as an inspiration to future Scholar Athletes. We wish Anna all the best of luck as she moves on to her collegiate career at Shippensburg University.

Parents and Caregivers, Please be advised that dismissal times may be impacted by the road construction and repairs necessitated by the water main break near Berne and Columbia Streets. Expect delays today. Road closures may impact our ability to drop students at their normal stops on busses 4 and 6. Parents that reside in this area may want to contact your child’s building office and pickup your children at the school today. Otherwise, we will determine a new drop-off point as close as we can get to the original stops. Those families will be called directly this afternoon. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
